Meet the Artist

     I graduated from Minnesota State University with a Bachelors degree in Health Science and Minor in Family Life and Child Development. I have a passion for health, happiness, and helping others. I worked in the health field for 7 years as a Health Educator and Health Coach before becoming an artist, and then my life changed forever…I became a mom.

     My journey to becoming an artist started when one of my best friends asked me to do her makeup for her wedding. I had always done friends' makeup for prom or weddings but never for a bride. I was so honored that she had that much confidence and trust in my skills. Other women in the wedding party asked me if I was a Makeup Artist. My response was, "No, but I've always wanted to be!" From that moment on I could not stop thinking about why I didn't just go for it and follow my little girl dreams.

     My husband and I knew we wanted to start a family and there was such a strong desire in my heart to be at home with my children and not miss a beat with them growing and changing. I still wanted to help provide for a growing family, so with the support and encouragement from my amazing husband Mike, I enrolled in a professional Makeup Artist school, Faces Etc. of MN. Two weeks into the class I found out I was pregnant with my first precious child Noah. God sure has the most perfect timing. Since then we have welcomed Finn in 2016, and Milo in 2018 and couldn't be happier! 

Going into this business I couldn’t wait to bless women and shower them with love the moment they sit in my chair, but what I wasn’t prepared for was how much those women would bless me. I am overwhelmed by the beauty that sits before me with each client I have the honor of meeting. I love meeting new people and I can not wait to meet you! :)
